Christmas 2005

We started off the holidays with a trip to London where we met up with some old friends from University Graeme, Ben and Rich and their partners Heather, Tatiana and Aasia.





We then headed off to North Wales for about a week with Mum and Dad and the others.
We took a drive to look at the windmills.........







.....went for a walk on Christmas Day to the village.......










....... and spent lots of time holding Edie.

Half-Term in Riga

Bertie and I ventured to the capital city of Latvia for our half-term break. This was the first trip we had taken together in over 2 years and we had an incredible time! Riga was extremely cold and damp, we even had snow mixed with rain on out first night, but we layered up and hit the streets. It was an inexpensive place to visit and just about everyone spoke a bit of English. We got some great photos, particularly of the architecture of Riga.

The Littlest Welch

Bertie and I are completely enamoured with the newest addition to the Welch tribe, our neice, Edie. She is eating her Mom and Dad out of house and home and demands live musical accompaniment to her 'Nursery Rhymes' CD, but we still think she's lovely.
