I am crawling....kind of.

I have been crawling around recently and am now pretty quick at getting to all the things I am not allowed to touch or put in my mouth.

I got myself weighed this morning and have grown to 17 pounds 13 ounces which the lady said was perfect.

In my spare time I am listening to The Wiggles and taking Glokenspiel lessons from mummy, frankly, I do not think she knows what she is doing.

Jumperoo is back

The Jumperoo has arrived, but Alfie has decided that he no longer likes jumping,he prefers to look at his mobile (for which he has developed an unhealthy obsession).

He spends much of the day trying to grab and put in his mouth all the things he is not supposed to. For example, computer wires, stroller wheels, shoes and so on.

He is moving forward now at quite a pace, just would not call it a crawl just yet.

I'm too sexy for my shirt

Alfie is doing well and has stopped feeding during the night. Sometimes he will sleep all the way through, other nights he will wake up and think he is in the 'Make the most annoying noise in the world' competition and then go back to sleep.

We are all enjoying living in our new home and have finally got the bed base into the bedroom after sawing off a bit of excess wood.

Our day out in the Big Smoke

Yesterday we headed into the centre of Bristol to give Alfie a taste of city life. He suggested we take the train, I said OK. We did some shopping, played in the park and then headed back home. Not sure what Alfie made of the train as he thought it was pretty funny to blow raspberries all the way home. This is his new trick.

Enjoying the good weather

Alfie helped pick out a nice red parasol and we have been enjoying playing and eating outside in the nice weather this week.

Picnic in the park

Blaise Castle Park is just up the road so we took Alfie for a picnic on last Sunday, he was ecstatic.

Trip to North Wales

We have just spent a week in North Wales with all the other Welches. Alfie enjoyed being around his cousin Edie more than she enjoyed being around him. Although, they did enjoy being in the paddling pool together.

Alfie's mum and dad made it out for lunch, a trip to Denbigh castle and a pub quiz without him.

We also went for quite a few walks and Alfie is enjoying his Ergo baby carrier. He met up with William who lives just up the road. As you can see from the photo of them, they were both very excited to meet up.

Alfie is sleeping much better at night and during the day. It must be his dad's calming influence, now that he stays at home with him.

Here are a range of photo's from the trip.
