Granny and Grandpa visit

Last weekend Granny and Grandpa came to stay. The sun came out and we played in the back garden. Edie and Henry also came to visit. The next day we went to the zoo.

Josephine has started to move and likes to chew on Alfie's toys. He has taken to hiding them around the hosue when she gets close.

Back home in Asheville

After three nights in NYC, we flew down to Asheville to see family. All the main roads were closed when we prepared to leave the airport to drive into town. The reason? President Obama and the First Lady had come down for the weekend. We stuck around in hopes of seeing the President but the Sheriff drove his massive armoured truck to block the entrance onto the runway.
We had the best time ever in Asheville. It was fantastic for my family to finally meet Josephine and to have a chance to get re-acquanited with Alfie. The weather was superb...really warm, kids sleeping in nappies, fans running, a/c on in cars. We ate lots of great food and went everywhere!
